Most expense apps want an account, a bank link and a subscription. JebKhata keeps it to the basics: open it, log what you spent, see where the money went. Everything stays on the phone.
What it does
- Quick entry: type
10 chaiand it’s logged. Swipe a row to edit or delete it - Calendar: a month grid; long-press and drag to select a date range and see its entries
- Insights: this week vs last week, the trend, month spend and your top items
- JSON import and export through the Android file picker, and a currency toggle
- Works fully offline with local SQLite storage
How it’s built
- Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, Android 8.0+ (minSdk 26)
- A GitHub Actions pipeline signs release APKs on every tag, so installs and updates come straight from GitHub Releases without the Play Store
