Rama Shankar Jha

I'm Rama Shankar Jha, a full stack developer from Saharsa, Bihar. I studied English literature, took a programming diploma in 2017, and have been building for the web since 2018: first as a freelance frontend developer, now across the whole stack.

Most of my work is React and Next.js on the front, Node and PostgreSQL behind it. When a project needs something else I go there too: a Rust desktop app with Tauri and SQLite, a native Android app in Kotlin, or Python Telegram bots built to fit on a 1 GB free-tier server.

In Web3 I've co-built two projects with friends: PlugPort, a database that speaks MongoDB, Postgres, MySQL and Redis while storing data verifiably on Monad, and BlindHop, which routes Polkadot light-client traffic through the Nym mixnet so nodes can't see who you are. On my own I built IntentBridge, a cross-chain intent protocol on Polkadot Hub.

I also help bring developers into Web3. With my previous team I co-organized Polkadot developer workshops at IIT Roorkee, IIT Bombay, MIT Manipal and NITK Surathkal, and co-hosted the Polkadot Asset Hub Hackathon in Goa. Before that I made sites and community pages for Edgeware.
